Woodland for Peace (W4P) is set to host a free film screening of the 2019 documentary, Gaza Fights for Freedom, in hopes of educating the community on the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict.
The film screening will take place on Sept. 20 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the Woodland location of St. John’s Unified Church of Christ at 432 Cleveland St. There will also be a guided discussion after the film to gather what has been learned by the community.
W4P is an ad hoc group of Woodland-based, religious and non-religious individuals. According to a release from the organization, W4P is a peace and human rights group dedicated to Palestinian Justice and resisting fascism, and they dub “the U.S war machine.”
