BELLEFONTE, Pa. – A former Johnstown man and infamous criminal who was convicted of abusing and torturing his seven children in the 1990s has died in custody at SCI Rockview.

Rickie Gaddis was terminally ill, Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said, and succumbed to his disease Friday at the age of 68. ×
