ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Kickoff for Saturday’s game between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta began in a rain delay.

The Yellow Jackets’ home opener was slated to start at 3:30 p.m., but inclement weather making its way toward Atlanta forced the game to be rescheduled at 4:05 p.m.

Fans in the stadium were encouraged to leave the seating bowl and shelter in place in a covered area. Due to the delay, there was no Ramblin’ Wreck, band or cheer on the field for Yellow Jackets entrance.
