AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Longhorns have notched their first win of the 2025 season.

Following a disappointing loss to Ohio State in Week 1, the Longhorns rebounded in a big way on Saturday, blowing out San Jose State 38-7 at DKR.

The Longhorns were widely expected to dominate the Spartans, entering as massive betting favorites. Quarterback Arch Manning had a redeeming performance after struggling against Ohio State, finishing with 295 yards and four touchdowns on 19-of-30 passing. He did, however, throw an interception toward the end of the first half.
