SYRACUSE, N.Y (WSYR-TV)-- Syracuse fans are undeterred by construction and technical issues as they continue their long-standing tailgating traditions on game day.

Despite major construction around the Syracuse campus and the introduction of a new parking pass system that has been confusing fans, they remained dedicated to their pre-game rituals.

"45 years we've been here — the same freaking space, I'm not kidding you," said Joe Todisco, a long-time fan.

"We were concerned because everything said that everything was going under construction," said dedicated fan Rich Kaplun.

Dean Bell, another long-time fan, had issues with the new parking pass system.

"I messed around with my tickets because they got this new parking pass or ticket pass," Bell said, "and it wouldn't download."
