On the campaign trail, Donald Trump promised he would not cut Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security.

Then came his One Big Beautiful Bill, which cut over $1 trillion from health programs — the largest rollback of federal support for health care in American history. Those cuts will result in an estimated 10 million people losing health coverage.
