CHARLOTTE — The UNC football game at Charlotte won’t start at 7 p.m., according to a Charlotte spokesman.
The gates at Jerry Richardson Stadium were scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. for fans, but a weather delay is pushing back the timeline for the Tar Heels ’ Week 2 road game against the Niners.
At 5:23 p.m., Charlotte sent out a social media post from its primary football account, writing: "Due to continued weather in the area, gates will not open at 5:30 p.m. We will announce a new time for gates to open once it is determined."
