Thousands of Oklahoma and Michigan supporters filled the University of Oklahoma campus early Saturday, with many camping overnight to secure a prime spot for ESPN’s College GameDay. Chants of “Boomer Sooner” echoed across the South Oval as fans waved signs and flags in anticipation of the top-20 matchup.

College GameDay brings national spotlight and economic boost to Norman

This marks the 10th time College GameDay has visited OU’s campus, and the second consecutive year in Norman. OU President Joseph Harroz and Athletic Director Joe Castiglione said the event not only brings national exposure but also creates an economic impact in Norman and Oklahoma City.
