Buffalo, N.Y. — The Syracuse Mets dominated both sides of the ball in a 10-0 win over the Buffalo Bisons on Saturday afternoon at Sahlen Field.
The Mets have now won three of the first five games this week against the Bisons.
Syracuse opened the scoring in the top of the second inning when José Azocar blasted a solo home run to put Syracuse ahead, 1-0.
The Mets piled on to that lead with a huge fourth inning. After a double by Ryan Clifford, Kevin Parada ripped a two-out RBI single to give Syracuse a 2-0 lead.
The two-out rally continued with a single by Yonny Hernandez and a walk by Luke Ritter to load the bases. The bases were full for Luis De Los Santos, who grounded a ball to third base. After a throwing error by Josh Kasevich — Parada and Hernandez scored.
