Michigan football hits the road this week for its first away game of the season, traveling more than 1,000 miles to Norman, Oklahoma.

The Wolverines take on the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Sept. 6, in a game that sees coach Sherrone Moore go up against his alma mater. Moore was an offensive lineman at Oklahoma from 2006-07.

After a home opener that saw true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood shine in his debut, Michigan looks to continue generating momentum. The Wolverines , No. 13, and the Sooners , No. 24, are both coming off relative down years, with Oklahoma posting a losing 6-7 record last year and Michigan going 8-5.
