Michigan State football cruised to a Week 1 victory, but is now facing a tougher opponent in Week 2.

The Spartans (1-0) take on the Boston College Eagles (1-0) on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing (7:30 p.m., NBC and streaming on Peacock and Fubo, which offers new subscribers a free trial ).

Michigan State is coming off a 23-6 Week 1 victory over Western Michigan last week to open their 2025 season, playing a near-perfect first half and an offensively-challenged second half.

Michigan State coach Jonanthan Smith is looking to fix those offensive woes, and junior quarterback Aidan Chiles is looking to build off a solid start.

The Spartans are 1-5 all-time against the Eagles, last playing them in a 23-19 road loss in the early part of the 2024 season. A win
