BLOOMINGTON — Curt Cignetti described himself as “a little bit of a tyrant” on the Indiana football sideline Saturday in the fourth quarter.

It was not meant as an apology.

Cignetti witnessed Indiana cruise past an overmatched, overpowered Kennesaw State team, 56-9. He saw Fernando Mendoza find his rhythm and his top target nine times, more than anyone else. Counted his defense racking up 14 tackles for loss, playing in the Owls backfield all afternoon.
