RANDOLPH, Minn. — Two people are dead after a truck traveling in the wrong direction on Highway 56 collided head-on with an SUV Saturday morning in Randolph.

The Minnesota State Patrol said a Dodge Ram traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway struck a GMC Terrain head-on just south of 292nd Street East at about 11 a.m. Officials say two people inside the GMC were killed, while the driver in the Dodge truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries. State patrol says they believe the driver of the Dodge truck may have been drinking.
