The 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards are handing out its first night of awards.

The annual two-day event, which takes place the weekend before the Primetime Emmys , will give dozens of awards to mostly below-the-line categories on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7.

Early winners for Night 1 include Julianne Nicholson for best guest actress in a comedy series for Hacks , Bryan Cranston for best guest actor in a comedy series for The Studio and Merritt Wever for best guest actress in a drama series for Severance . In addition, The Pitt won best casting for a drama series, The Studio took home best casting in a comedy series and Adolescence won best casting for a limited or anthology series or movie.
