SALT LAKE CITY – Utah football two-way standout Jackson Bennee read the quarterback the whole way as he pulled down an interception and returned it 46 yards for a touchdown.

The play extended the Utes’ streak of seasons with a pick-six to 22.

Utah’s streak of 22 seasons with an interception returned for a touchdown is the longest in college football.

Bennee is one of three Utah players to transition from just defense to both sides of the ball in 2025.

He played in 12 games last season with most of his snaps on special teams. He did get some looks on defense at safety, finishing his first college year with six tackles.
