TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WCIA) -- Eastern Illinois Football fell to 1-1 on the season after it's first road test, as Indiana State got a decisive 38-14 win over the Panthers.
ISU outgained the Panthers 412-239 in total yardage, and EIU went just 5-of-16 on third down conversions.
Redshirt freshman quarterback Connor Wolf replaced starter Cole LaCrue in the second half, throwing for 112 yards, completing 9-of-13 passes.
Charles Kellom led the way in rushing for EIU with 23 carries for 86 yards and two touchdowns.
The Panthers are back in action on Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 pm to face Illinois State at home.
