Police were investigating a hit-and-run that left a man in a wheelchair injured on Sept. 5 in Phoenix, according to a police spokesperson.

About 11 p.m., officers were called to the area of 35th and Northern avenues after a man in the roadway was struck by a car, Sgt. Jennifer Zak of the Phoenix Police Department said.
