NEWPORT -- The Camden Hills Windjammers volleyball team put on an impressive performance Saturday afternoon, walking away with a 3-0 victory over the Nokomis Warriors

In the opening set, the Windjammer's Katie Scott got the ball rolling with a powerful spike followed by a fantastic block that gave Camden Hills the lead early.

Nokomis showed their offensive fire power a few volleys later when Ashlyn Bowie delivered a laser over the net on her service attempt, leaving no time for the Windjammers to react.

But the the front line of the Windjammers kept their foot on the gas, as Gabby Martin placed another great spike on the opposite side of the net, helping her to to earn the first set win, and eventually taking the match win three sets to nothing.
