A beloved Pennsylvania teen has died following a tragic electric bicycle accident .

William Fenninger, a junior and football player at Warwick High School in Lancaster County, was critically injured after his e-bike collided with a car on Thursday, Aug. 28, per Lancaster Online , CBS 21 and WGAL 8 .

William died in the hospital several days later on Monday, Sept. 1, per a statement to parents from the Warwick County School District, according to the outlets.
