STATE COLLEGE – Penn State will have a pair of veteran defenders available in its non-conference matchup with Florida International today at Beaver Stadium.
Sixth-year edge rusher Zuriah Fisher and junior cornerback Zion Tracy, who did not play against Nevada, are not on the Lions’ availability report for the game.
Fisher, who missed all of last season with an unspecified injury, adds depth to a PSU end room led by senior Dani Dennis-Sutton.
The return of Tracy gives defensive coordinator Jim Knowles another option at the Lions’ nickel position other than redshirt freshman Kenny Woseley Jr.
The list of players who are unavailable include redshirt sophomore edge rusher Mason Robinson and true freshman defensive tackle Randy Adirika.
