GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The iconic 70-foot fence along Lombardi Avenue facing Lambeau Field got a new look ahead of the Packers' home and season opener against the Lions on Sunday afternoon.

Courtesy of the Green and Gold faithful and former Packers player Frank Winters, the fence was painted starting around 8 a.m. on Saturday, going for several hours, as fans painted in outlines of multiple players doing the iconic 'Lambeau Leap.'

It was the third year of the Packers Community Mural, led by Zane Statz, a local artist who has been painting Packers murals for over a decade.

In 2023, over 200 people painted the fence in about two hours. In 2024, that number ballooned to 500 over eight hours, and this year featured fully outlined designs of Packers players past and present, along with a s
