POMFRET, CT (WFSB) - One person was arrested for DUI after a double-crash on Saturday in Pomfret.

State police said a car hit a pole and then a second car crashed into them.

The collision happened on Route 169 between Fox Hill Road and Woodstock Road.

According to police, one person was arrested for DUI.

Eversource worked to clear the downed pole and wires in the road.

The Department of Transportation said the area was still closed.
