PHOENIX — A crash has shut down a portion of State Route 74 in north Phoenix, according to information from the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The eastbound and westbound lanes are closed from about a mile south of I-17 to Lake Pleasant Parkway, ADOT officials said. There is no estimated timeframe as to when the lanes may reopen and officials ask that drivers find an alternate route.

Officials did not say if there were injuries involved.
