NANAKULI, Hawaii (Island News) -- Two men were hospitalized after gunfire broke out at a beach party in Nanakuli overnight on Saturday.
Multiple gunshots at Zablan Beach were reported to police at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, where a party was taking place.
One of the victims in the shooting was found by police officers on the road with a gunshot wound. Paramedics treated two men, an 18 and 20-year-old, for an apparent gunshot wound before taking them to an emergency room.
The 18-year-old man was taken by ambulance in serious condition and the 20-year-old man was taken in critical condition.
An attempted murder investigation is underway and no arrests have been made at this time.
