INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting Saturday night on Indy's far east side.
According to IMPD, around 10:55 p.m. on Sept. 6, officers were called to the 3900 block of Delmont Drive , near East 42nd Street and North Mitthoefer Road, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male with gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they do not currently have anyone in custody.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office will determine the exact manner and cause of death.
