HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- Six people are in the hospital after a vehicle pursuit Saturday evening, according to the Hartselle Police Department.

Hartselle Police say on Sept. 6 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Priceville Police Department was engaged in a vehicle pursuit that entered Hartselle on Highway 36.

The pursuit ended in a crash at the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 36, resulting in multiple injuries and six transported to local hospitals.

Hartselle Police say the suspect has been taken into custody and officers are investigating.
