BURRILLVILLE – The famed "Conjuring House" is headed to the auction block.
J.J. Manning Auctioneers will conduct a foreclosure auction of the historic 8.5-acre Round Top Road property at 11 a.m. on Oct. 31. The date, which coincides with Halloween, has already sparked significant chatter in paranormal circles and online communities.
Known for its alleged supernatural activity, the farmhouse served as inspiration for the blockbuster horror film "The Conjuring," leading to a franchise that just saw the release of "The Conjuring: Last Rites" on Sept. 5.
