The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) Police Department reported another drink spiking case has happened.

UTC Police got the report of a possible aggravated assault by poisoning, also known as drink spiking, on Saturday.

The victim was a UTC student, according to the police department.

They said it happened at a party at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house on East 11th Street.

The victim reported suddenly blacking out at the party which took place Friday evening, September 5. The victim's friends located them in a room about 30 minutes later.

Police said the victim received a medical evaluation, which determined they had ingested a strong opioid medication.
