Helicopters from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department rescued two trauma patients Saturday from a vehicle collision in the remote unincorporated area of Llano, in the Antelope Valley.

The collision occurred on Pearblossom (138) Highway at 165th Street East, according to the sheriff’s department, which did not release the time of the airlift.

The two trauma patients were loaded into a helicopter and taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment, sheriff’s officials said.
