The Crimson Tide needed to majorly course correct after a brutal, season-opening loss to FSU on the road. They did that and then some on Saturday night.
Now, head coach Kalen DeBoer has one thing on his mind: keeping that momentum going.
“They made their minds up at some point leading up to (last) Sunday,” DeBoer said. “Because by Sunday, they were ready to roll, and that carried through the whole week. The challenge now is, can you sustain it?”
What really stood out to DeBoer on Saturday was the difference in QB Ty Simpson's performance compared to last week. He completed a school-record 17 straight passes for 3 touchdowns.
