A car crashed into a tree on a Cambridgeshire road. Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue were called to the crash on Saturday (September 6) along Conington Road, Elsworth , just before 9.40am.

Firefighters found a car had crashed into a tree. Firefighters removed a casualty from a car and left them with ambulance crews.

Two other people were already out of the car when firefighters arrived. A fire spokesperson said: “At 9.38am on Saturday, a crew from Huntingdon and the south roaming fire engine were called to a road traffic collision on Conington Road in Elsworth.

“Firefighters arrived to find a car had collided with a tree. Using specialist equipment they released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.

“Two casualties were out of the vehicle when the crews arrived.
