Midland TV and radio presenter Richie Anderson has a new telly job and it starts next week.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, who is from Smethwick and made his name on Zoe Ball's Radio 2 breakfast show after leaving BBC WM, is a new host on property-finding show Escape to the Country.

The 26th series will stretch across 50 episodes. Richie's first episode features a Birmingham couple house-hunting in the rural Midlands and is due to air on BBC1 at 3pm tomorrow, Monday, September 8.
