Two tickets matched all six balls in the Saturday, Sept. 6 Powerball drawing to split the estimated $1.787 billion jackpot, according to the Powerball website .

The jackpot win is the second largest U.S. lottery won, trailing only the $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot won in 2022 (see lists below).
