Prior to the emergency alert test later today, the Government has warned Brits to expect a siren-like sound to emit from their phones at 3pm.

At 3pm on today (Sunday, September 7), mobile phones and tablets across the UK will emit a loud siren sound and vibrate for 10 seconds.
