COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Julian Sayin looked the part of a Heisman-worthy quarterback Saturday.

Of course, he won’t win the sport’s most prestigious award because of a 306-yard, four-touchdown game against Grambling State — a program from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

However, embedded in the win were signs of why the first-time starter was once the highest-rated quarterback in his recruiting class.

Sayin is quickly establishing himself as one of the most poised and accurate quarterbacks in the country, and his coach is a quarterback guru with a plan for the sophomore.
