URBANDALE, Ia. – We have a winner. Two of them actually.

Powerball officials say two tickets sold in Missouri and Texas matched all six number drawn Saturday night and will split a $1.787 billion jackpot. The jackpot came in at that exact number based on final ticket sales.

The jackpot was the second-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won, trailing only the record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot won in California in November 2022.

Each ticket holder will have the choice of an annuitized prize of $893.5 million or a lump sum payment of $410.3 million. Both prizes are before taxes.

The jackpot now resets to $20 million for the next drawing Monday night.

More than 9.9 million tickets won cash prizes in Saturday’s drawing.
