LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Whether it was howling for the Wolves or calling the Hogs, football fans were in one stadium, cheering on their team on Saturday.
It was a historic matchup between Arkansas and Arkansas State, ending with the Razorbacks on top — 56 to 14.
Allie Robbins is an alumnus of Arkansas State. She said she’s proud of the Red Wolves, even though it’s not the outcome she hoped for.
"But my son's here. Now, he is an Arkansas fan. So, we're a split family,” Robbins said.
It was the first time these teams had gone head-to-head in this highly anticipated showdown.
So, no matter the reason to represent red, the packed stadium was full of team spirit — and high energy.
