A manager of an Applebee’s in Bellevue was brutally attacked by an employee with a hammer.
The manager was closing up the restaurant, located on Bel Red Road, on Aug. 31 at approximately 1 a.m. when one of his employees, Marco Antonio Herrera-Chan, approached his office and said “lo siento,” according to court documents obtained by KIRO Newsradio.
Herrera-Chan, 48, then hit his manager, 56, in the head with a hammer. According to court documents, the manager couldn’t see clearly due to blood running down his head into his eyes.
