Sir Keir Starmer has joined King Charles at church in Scotland following a tumultuous week in UK politics . The Prime Minister and his wife Lady Victoria Starmer were pictured arriving at Crathie Kirk near Balmoral on Sunday morning.
They attended the regular service on September 7 alongside Charles and other royal guests. During the service, prayers were said for the Duchess of Kent, with elements of dress reflecting the period of royal mourning.
The Duchess of Kent, who was married to the late Queen’s cousin, died last week at the age of 92, Buckingham Palace announced. The service was also being held to mark the third anniversary of the King’s Accession.
