Maki of Japan and its popular toothpick-speared free samples of bourbon chicken are long gone if fondly remembered.

But there's a new Asian dining option for shoppers in the Southlake Mall food court.

Mango Thai opened in the food court of the Southlake Malln at U.S. 30 and Mississippi Street in Hobart.

It serves Asian cuisine it bills as "bold, fresh and flavorful." The menu includes mango chicken, other crispy chicken dishes, noodles and fried rice.

"They are offering combo meals with 1-3 entrees, noodles and rice," Southlake Mall Marketing & Business Development Manager Kristyn Filetti said.
