The award show—which will air live on Sept. 7 from the UBS Arena in New York—promises to be as iconic as ever with Lady Gaga , Bruno Mars , Kendrick Lamar and Rosé leading the nominations.
Lady Gaga nabbed the most nominations this year, earning a Best Album nod for her recent release Mayhem , as well as being recognized in the Video of the Year category for “Die With a Smile,” alongside collaborator Bruno. The 18-time VMA winner also picked up noms for Artist of the Year and Best Choreography for “Abracadabra.” This marks the third time Gaga has amassed the most nominations, previously achieving the feat in 2010 and 2020.
