HOUSTON – A man was shot and killed after an argument with his girlfriend in southwest Houston.
Police said a man was arguing with his girlfriend in a parking lot on Bissonnet Street and Fondren Road at about 10 p.m. Saturday and had walked away.
A dark-colored Ford SUV drove up, someone got out and shot the victim.
The man’s girlfriend tried to help him, but he died at the scene.
Investigators said the shooting appears unrelated to the argument.
“It appears that it’s unrelated, they did not know each other, they did not engage in conversation or anything like that,” said Lt. A. Khan.
The man’s girlfriend was not injured in the shooting.
