GALLIANO, La. —

A two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 3235 killed 63-year-old Clovis Vizier of Galliano. Authorities say Vizier was driving a 2014 Kawasaki Teryx UTV south on the northbound shoulder when he crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.

Vizier was not wearing a safety restraint and died at the scene. The Silverado driver was not injured. Preliminary tests show no alcohol or impairment for the truck driver. The crash remains under investigation. Advertisement
