( East Texas ) Hey Longview and Tyler , it's time for a friendly competition with peanut butter!

The great things about this competition are that you don't need muscles or stamina to compete, and that it benefits those who go hungry right here in East Texas . With all that East Texas is blessed with, it is hard to think that there are adults and children in our neighborhoods who go without eating because they can't afford food. Even the basics.

Here in East Texas, 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 4 children are hungry. Many East Texas families rely upon the East Texas Food Bank (ETFB), area churches, and other non-profits for food, and these people are very grateful for what they receive.
