Police were called to Southchurch Drive in Clifton
Armed police were called to a Nottingham suburb after officers received reports of a large knife. Police were called to Southchurch Drive, in Clifton town centre, at around 9pm on Tuesday (September 2).
When the Armed Response Officers arrived at a tram stop along the road, a large machete-style knife was found. A 15-year-old boy has since been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place and is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates Court on 24 September.
