Earlier this week, ESPN reported that the Philadelphia Eagles made a “strong play” to trade for Micah Parsons before the Dallas Cowboys sent him to the Green Bay Packers.
We now have more details about that offer via NFL insider Jay Glazer on the FOX NFL Gameday pregame show:
“The team that actually threw in the biggest offer was the Philadelphia Eagles for two [first-round picks], a [third-round pick], a [fifth-round pick], amongst others things. Obviously, didn’t want to trade him in the division.”
“But the Green Bay Packers, they chimed in early, they kept with it. Kenny Clark was what made the difference for Dallas.“
It would be nice to know exactly what “amongst other things” means. Perhaps one of the Eagles’ defensive linemen not named Jalen Carter?
