Daisy Campbell, known for her role as Amelia Spencer in Emmerdale, has spoken candidly about her sudden departure from the popular ITV soap.

The 22-year-old actress portrayed Amelia from 2011 to 2024, but was unexpectedly let go last year after a 13-year stint on the show.

In a frank interview, Daisy revealed that she had an inkling her character might be written out, particularly following the exit of her on-screen father, Dan Spencer, played by Liam Fox, the previous year, reports the Daily Star .
