The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose 1 cent Sunday to $4.66, its highest amount since June 11.

The average price is 2.9 cents more than one week ago, 19.4 cents more than one month ago and 5.5 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.833 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose for the 17th time in the last 18 days, increasing a half-cent to $4.637, its highest amount since June 4. It is 3.5 cents more than one week ago, 22.7 cents more than one month ago and 10.4 cents more than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.821 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
