Pitt volleyball was on its home court for the first time this season and gave quite the show to the over 4,000 fans who came. The Panthers went 2-0 at Fitzgerald Field House to earn their third and fourth wins of the season.
It wasn’t a one-woman show throughout the weekend, either. Every single player stepped up in some capacity, including on Sunday, when five different players had nine or more kills.
“First off, thanks to all the Pitt volleyball fans for a great showing,” coach Dan Fisher said. “We've been working a lot on our setting, not just our setter-hitter connection but our non-setter setting. This was the best of all that so far this year. ... It was really nice tonight to see all their work kind of pay off statistically.”
