President Donald Trump's alleged "final warning" to Hamas was mocked by analysts on Sunday.
Trump posted on Truth Social that he had "warned" Hamas of the consequences of not accepting his offer to end its war with Israel. He made the post while he was attending the US Open, where he was booed.
"Everyone wants the Hostages HOME," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well. I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!"
Analysts mocked Trump's comments on social media.
"Trump gives Hamas 'last warning,'" media strategist Vince Monroy posted on Bluesky. "He really means it this time."
"Trump gives Hamas a 'last warning' — just like in March," lawyer Eric Columbus posted on Bluesky.
"I’m sure it’ll work this time, my dude. Just post harder," journalist Matt Novak wrote on Bluesky.
"While Hamas officials have told me they are open to all proposals to end the genocide, this 'new' concept is being viewed in the movement with extreme skepticism with suspicions it is yet another coordinated US-Israeli deception operation to continue the genocide and blame Hamas," journalist Jeremy Scahill posted on X.
